Street theatre

Theatre de rue is a street performance whose participants were students from Mostar and Belgrade. The goal of the performance was to bring culture closer to citizens, primarily young people. As part of the project, students in Mostar and Belgrade pointed out current problems concerning cultural institutions in local communities of Mostar and Belgrade, which is the main goal of this project. The performances were interactive and reminded citizens of the functions of cultural institutions, but also of culture as such. It was also pointed out that intentional and accidental audiences (citizens) can be consumers but also creators of art and culture, which motivates them to actively advocate for improving the cultural situation in their communities.
